The men's 100 meter freestyle swimming competition at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm was held on July 6th and 10th. The American Duke Kahanamoku became Olympic champion. The silver medal went to Cecil Healy from the Australasia team . In the battle for bronze, Ken Huszagh was only two hundredths ahead of the German Kurt Bretting .
