The men's 100 meter freestyle swimming competition at the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles was held on August 6th and 7th. The Japanese Yasuji Miyazaki became Olympic champion. Silver went to his compatriot Tatsugo Kawaishi and bronze to Albert Schwartz .
