The 1000 m in the women's short track took place on February 20 and 22, 2018 in the Gangneung Ice Arena .

The Olympic champion was Suzanne Schulting from the Netherlands , Kim Boutin from Canada won silver and Arianna Fontana from Italy won the bronze medal .
