Omuthiya (officially Omuthiyagwiipundi ) is a city in Namibia and the capital of the Oshikoto region . It was named after the Omuthiya gwiipundi (means something like " camel thorn tree with benches to rest"). The city has 3800 inhabitants on an area of 132.1 square kilometers.
