details

The orange juice tanker was built as hull number 469 by the Brodosplit shipyard in Split, Croatia, delivered on February 17, 2011 and put into service shortly afterwards. It was the first ship of its kind to be built in Croatia. The tanker has a total tank capacity of 32,000 cubic meters, divided into twelve juice tanks of 2000 cubic meters and two tanks of 4000 cubic meters. The freighter is managed by the Swiss shipping company Atlanship in La Tour-de-Peilz , the shipowner is the Liberian North Sea Reefer Enterprise.

The ship will be used in regular services between the Brazilian loading port of Santos and the port of discharge in Rotterdam, where it replaced a ship of the same name that was in service from 1975 to 2010.

The ship is propelled by a two-stroke six-cylinder diesel engine of the type 6S50 MC-C7, which was built in Split under license from the manufacturer MAN B&W. The engine has an output of 8,600  kW . Two diesel generators with 1,215 kW output ( apparent power 1,519  kVA ) as well as a diesel generator with 910 kW power (apparent power 1138 kVA) and an emergency generator with 170 kW power (apparent power 212 kVA) are available for the power supply on board .
