The Orange Township is one of 18 townships in Clinton County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Iowa .
geography
The Orange Township is located in east Iowa on the north bank of the Wapsipinicon River , a right tributary of the Mississippi , about 30 km east , which forms the border with Illinois . The Wisconsin border is 85 km north.
The Orange Township is located at 41 ° 48'52 "north latitude and 90 ° 38'08" west longitude and extends over 76.47 km². In the south of the township, on the banks of the Wapsipinicon River, is the Barber Creek Wildlife Management Area .
The Orange Township is in the south of Clinton County and is bordered to the south by the Wapsipinicon River, which forms the border with Scott County . Within Clinton County, Orange Township is bordered by Olive Township to the west, Grant Township to the northwest , Welton Township to the north and De Witt Township to the east .

US Highway 30 runs through Orange Township in a west-east direction . All other roads are county roads and subordinate and partly unpaved roads.
A Union Pacific Railroad line runs parallel to Highway 30 .
