The De Witt Township is one of 18 townships in Clinton County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Iowa .

The De Witt Township is located in east Iowa on the north bank of the Wapsipinicon River , a right tributary of the Mississippi , about 20 km east , which forms the border with Illinois . The Wisconsin border is 50 miles north.
De Witt Township is located at 41 ° 49'25 "north latitude and 90 ° 31'33" west longitude and extends over 141.1 km².
The De Witt Township is located in the south of Clinton County and borders on Scott County to the south . Within Clinton County, De Witt Township borders the Orange Township in the west, Welton Township in the northwest , Washington Township and Center Township in the northeast, and Eden Township in the east .
