The Sharon Township is one of 18 townships in Clinton County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Iowa .

Sharon Township is located in eastern Iowa about 55 km west of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois . The Wisconsin border is 75 km north.

The Sharon Township is located at 41 ° 59'19 "north latitude and 90 ° 50'54" west longitude and extends over 93.96 km². Within the township are the Lost Nation Public Hunting Area and the McAndrews Wildlife Area .

The Sharon Township is located in the extreme northwest of Clinton County and borders in the southwest on the Cedar , in the west on the Jones and in the north on Jackson County . Within Clinton County, Sharon Township is bordered by Brookfield Township to the east, Grant Township to the southeast and Liberty Township to the south .

Iowa Highway 136 runs through Orange Township in a west-east direction . All other roads are county roads and subordinate and partly unpaved roads.
