The Center Township is one of 18 townships in Clinton County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Iowa .

The Center Township is located in eastern Iowa around 12 km west of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois . The Wisconsin border is 90 km north.
The Center Township is located at 41 ° 54'12 "north latitude and 90 ° 22'16" west longitude and extends over 109.88 km².
The Center Township is located in the eastern center of Clinton County and borders on the Deep Creek Township in the north, the Elk River Township in the northeast, the Hampshire Township in the east, the non-township town of Clinton in the southeast and an exclave of the Camanche Township , to the south to the Eden Township , to the southwest to the De Witt Township , to the west to the Washington Township and to the northwest to the Waterford Township .

Iowa Highway 136 runs through the far northeast of Center Township . All other roads are county roads and subordinate and partly unpaved roads.
