The Camanche Township is one of 18 townships in Clinton County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Iowa .

The Camanche Township is located in eastern Iowa at the confluence of the Wapsipinicon River in the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois . The Wisconsin border is 110 km north.
The Camanche Township lies at 41 ° 46'43 "north latitude and 90 ° 18'02" west longitude and extends over 58.61 km², which is spread over 50.43 km² of land and 8.18 km² of water.
The Camanche Township is located in the southeast of Clinton County and borders on Scott County to the south . On the opposite bank of the Mississippi are Whiteside and Rock Island Counties in Illinois. Within Clinton County, the Camanche Township borders the Eden Township in the east and the non-township city of Clinton in the north and the Center Township via an enclave .
