Eastern Iowa Airport

The Eastern Iowa Airport ( IATA : CID , ICAO : KCID ) is the airport of the city of Cedar Rapids in Linn County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Iowa . It is located 15 km south of downtown Cedar Rapids and 38 km northwest of Iowa City . The airport is owned by the City of Cedar Rapids and operated by the Cedar Rapids Airport Commission .

Eastern Iowa Airport is located in southwest Linn County. It is located around 90 km west of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois . In addition to Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, the nearest major cities are Waterloo (101 km northwest), Dubuque (132 km northeast), the Quad Cities (126 km southeast) and Iowa's capital Des Moines (191 km west southwest).
