Ameriflight was founded in 1968.

In May 2014, Ameriflight announced its headquarters, home airport and maintenance operations were moving from Burbank Airport to Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport .

Ameriflight serves destinations in North America , Mexico and the Caribbean from its 15 bases .
