Orvaux is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Le Val-Doré with 519 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Eure in the region of Normandy . The inhabitants are called Orvauxiens .

On January 1, 2018, the municipalities of Orvaux , Le Fresne and Le Mesnil-Hardray were merged to form the municipality ( Commune nouvelle ) Le Val-Doré. Orvaux is a commune déléguée with 519 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) within the new municipality. The municipality of Orvaux belonged to the arrondissement Évreux and the canton Conches-en-Ouche as well as to the municipality association Pays de Conches .

Orvaux is about 13 kilometers southwest of Évreux on the Iton . Orvaux is surrounded by the neighborhoods of Champ-Dolent in the north, Gaudreville-la-Rivière in the north and northeast, Les Ventes in the east, Villalet in the east and southeast, Nogent-le-Sec in the south, Le Mesnil-Hardray in the west and Le Fresne in the north-west.
