Le Fresne is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Le Val-Doré with 328 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Eure in the region of Normandy . The inhabitants are called Fresnois .

On January 1, 2018, the municipalities of Le Fresne , Le Mesnil-Hardray and Orvaux were merged to form the municipality ( Commune nouvelle ) Le Val-Doré. Le Fresne is a commune déléguée with 328 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) within the new municipality. The municipality of Le Fresne belonged to the arrondissement Évreux and the canton Conches-en-Ouche as well as the municipality association Pays de Conches .

Le Fresne is about 15 kilometers west-southwest of Évreux . Le Fresne is surrounded by the neighboring villages of Saint-Élier and La Croisille in the north, Glisolles in the northeast, Champ-Dolent in the east, Orvaux in the southeast, Le Mesnil-Hardray in the south and Conches-en-Ouche in the west.
