The European Darts Grand Prix is a ranking tournament in darts and was organized for the fourth time by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) from May 5th to 7th, 2017 . It was the fourth event of the European Darts Tour , which will be carried out as part of the Pro Tour 2017 . The venue was the Glass Palace in Sindelfingen .

The tournament was won by the Scot Peter Wright , who prevailed in the final with 6-0 legs against the Dutchman Michael van Gerwen .

format

The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode in all rounds was a best of 11 legs . Each leg was played in double-out mode.

Prize money

The tournament totaled £ 135,000 in prize money, an increase of £ 20,000 over the previous year. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:
