The German Darts Grand Prix 2017 was a ranking tournament in darts and was organized for the first time by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) from September 8th to 10th, 2017 . It was the tenth event of the European Darts Tour , which is part of the Pro Tour 2017 . The venue was the Maimarkthalle in Mannheim .

The tournament victory was secured by the Dutchman Michael van Gerwen , who prevailed in the final with 6: 3 legs against the Englishman Rob Cross .

The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode in all rounds was a best of 11 legs . Each leg was played in double-out mode.

The tournament totaled £ 135,000 in prize money. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:
