The German Darts Masters 2017 is a ranking tournament in darts and was organized for the sixth time by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) from April 15th to 17th, 2017 . It was the second event of the European Darts Tour , which will be carried out as part of the Pro Tour 2017 . Was the venue for the first time the Sparkassen-Arena in Jena.
The tournament victory was secured for the third time in a row by the Dutchman Michael van Gerwen , who prevailed in the final with 6: 2 legs against his compatriot Jelle Klaasen .
format
The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode in all rounds was a best of 11 legs . Each leg was played in double-out mode.
Prize money
The tournament totaled £ 135,000 in prize money. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:
