European Darts Tour 2017

The tournament series consists of twelve tournaments spread over the year in different European cities, two more tournaments than last year .

The results there have an influence on the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit , which is jointly responsible for the qualification of several major tournaments.

Venues

No more tournaments are played in Düsseldorf , Mülheim an der Ruhr , Unterschleißheim and Venray , while Göttingen , Jena , Leverkusen , Maastricht , Mannheim and Saarbrücken are new venues.

European Tour Events

At the end of the season, the top 32 of the European Tour Order of Merit , a special form of the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit , into which only the prize money from the European Tour Events flows, are qualified for the European Darts Championship 2017 .

In 2017 the tour will be expanded to include twelve tournaments. The two new tournaments are the German Darts Open and the German Darts Grand Prix .

Prize money

A total of £ 135,000 in prize money will be paid out per tournament, £ 20,000 more than on the European Darts Tour 2016 .
