European Darts Tour 2018

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The tournament series consists of thirteen tournaments spread over the year in various European cities. This means that there is one more tournament than last year .

The results there have an influence on the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit , which is jointly responsible for the qualification of several major tournaments.

Venues

No more tournaments are played in Jena , Mannheim and Schwechat , while Graz , Copenhagen , Munich and Zwolle are new venues.

European Tour Events

At the end of the season, the top 32 of the European Tour Order of Merit , a special form of the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit , into which only the prize money from the European Tour Events flows, are qualified for the European Darts Championship 2018 .

In 2018 the tour will be expanded from twelve to thirteen tournaments. The Danish Darts Open and the Dutch Darts Championship are completely new . The German Darts Masters fell out of the tournament schedule because of the event of the same name as part of the World Series of Darts 2018 .
