PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit is a separate ranking list of the PDC in darts . It is not to be confused with the PDC Order of Merit , which is an overall money ranking of the players. The Pro Tour Order of Merit was introduced in 2012 and replaced the previous Players Championship Order of Merit. It includes the prize money from the Players Championships and the European Tour Events .

The ranking is calculated on a 1-year basis, which means that the prize money earned in these tournaments over the last 12 months is relevant for the calculation.

qualification

The Pro Tour ranking list is the basis for the qualification for some major tournaments of the PDC.

number of players qualified for
Top 16 European Darts Tour Event
Top 16 World Matchplay
Top 16 World Grand Prix
Top 32 PDC World Darts Championship

The ranking list only influences the players if they are not already qualified for the respective tournament through the PDC Order of Merit . In these cases, the best placed in the Pro Tour Order of Merit move up. For the European Darts Tour Events, however, only the Pro Tour Order of Merit is relevant. The top 32 of the European Tour Order of Merit qualify at the European Darts Championships , the top 64 of the Players Championship Order of Merit at the Players Championship Finals .

Current ranking

The Pro Tour Order of Merit is also divided into the European Tour Order of Merit and the Players Championship Order of Merit . The top 32 and top 64 of the two rankings for the final tournaments European Darts Championship and Players Championship Finals are eligible to participate.
