The European Darts Grand Prix 2020 is a ranking tournament in darts and should be held from May 29th to 31st, 2020 by the Professional Darts Corporation .

The tournament was originally scheduled for the period from March 20th to March 22nd, 2020. However, it has been postponed to the last weekend of May due to the COVID-19 pandemic . However, on April 22, 2020 it was announced that all European Tour events taking place in Germany would be postponed indefinitely. It is an event of the European Darts Tour 2020 , which will be carried out as part of the Pro Tour 2020 . The venue for the eighth time is the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen .

format

The tournament will be played in a knockout system . Game mode is a best of 11 legs in the first rounds , best of 13 legs in the semi-finals and best of 15 legs in the final . Each leg is played in double-out mode.

Prize money

A total of £ 140,000 in prize money will be awarded to the tournament. The prize money is distributed among the participants as follows:
