Oskar Klingner (born March 15, 1991 in Radebeul ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Klingner was discovered in a volleyball club by a teacher who herself played in the second division. He started his career in 2004 at VC Dresden . After a sighting at the national cup, he switched to the VC Olympia Berlin youth team . With the junior national team, he took part in the 2011 World Cup in Rio de Janeiro. The middle blocker then moved to Bundesliga club Moerser SC . In summer 2014 Moerser SC withdrew its first team from the Bundesliga for financial reasons. Klingner then went to the SWD Powervolleys Düren . In the 2014/15 season he reached third place in the Bundesliga and the semifinals in the DVV Cup with Düren . In the 2015/16 CEV Cup he reached the quarter-finals against Sir Safety Perugia with the SWD Powervolley . After the European Cup, he moved to SVG Lüneburg in view of the competition in his position within the Bundesliga . The transfer mediated Angelina Hübner , the wife of the Lüneburg coach Stefan Huebner . With the North Germans Klingner reached the playoff semifinals of the Bundesliga , which Lüneburg lost to the Berlin Recycling Volleys . He then moved to the promoted TSG Solingen Volleys . In 2017 Klinger returned to Moerser SC in the second division.

Private

Klingner did his community service in a breast center . In addition to volleyball, he studies mechanical engineering in Duisburg . He lives with his partner in Oberhausen .
