Osvaldo Lourenço Filho (born April 11, 1987 in Fortaleza , Ceará ) is a Brazilian football player . The right foot is used on the right or left side in the attack.

Career

Osvaldo is a player who started his career at Fortaleza EC . Here he played his first game as a professional when he was substituted on November 5, 2006 in Serie A in the match against Goiás EC in the 72nd minute. In the course of his numerous changes, Osvaldo also played for a short time in Portugal for Sporting Braga . At the end of May 2017, Osvaldo moved from Fluminense Rio de Janeiro to Sport Recife . The contract ran until the end of the year. After Sport carried out a coaching change at the end of the season, the club announced that the contract with Osvaldo will not be renewed. After an interlude at his first professional club Fortaleza in early 2018, Osvaldo moved to Buriram United in Thailand at the end of May 2018 . After 16 appearances (two goals) at the end of the season, he was able to celebrate the 2018 championship with the club . At the beginning of 2019 he went back to his former club Fortaleza EC. The contract ran until the end of 2021.

National team

With the national team he was allowed to play two games. He made his debut on April 6, 2013 in a friendly against Bolivia . In the game Osvaldo was substituted on for Neymar . The game was in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Bolivian title of the South American Championship of 1963 and for the benefit of the family of Kevin Beltran Espada. A Bolivian fan who died on February 20, 2013 in a Copa Libertadores match between Club San José and Corinthians São Paulo after being hit by a missile.

Osvaldo played his second game for the Seleção on April 24, 2013 in the friendly against Chile in Belo Horizonte . This is where he came in for Jádson .
