Ottilia "Otti" Geschka (born Bördner, born December 27, 1939 in Selters (Taunus) - Haintchen ) is a German CDU politician and former State Secretary. D. She lives in Darmstadt . Geschka is a pediatric nurse .

She began her political activities in 1968/71 as a member of the municipal council in Bauschheim . From 1972 to 1978 she was a member of the Groß-Gerau district assembly , including as deputy chairwoman of the CDU district assembly. After moving from Rüsselsheim to Nauheim , she was a member of the community council for two years .

For the CDU in Darmstadt , she was a member of the Hessian state parliament from December 1, 1978 to April 27, 1987 and then moved to the Hessian state government as State Secretary , where she was authorized representative for women's affairs until February 12, 1991. After the state elections in Hesse in 1991 she was again a member of the state parliament and deputy chairwoman of the CDU parliamentary group until 1993 . She ran in the constituency of Darmstadt-Stadt I , but was always elected from the CDU state list. From January 1, 1993 to December 31, 1999, she was Lord Mayor of the Opel city of Rüsselsheim and thus Hesse's first female mayor. From 1986 to 1990 and from 1996 to 2002 she was deputy state chairwoman and from 2000 to 2001 general secretary of the CDU Hessen .

In addition, she has carried out the following functions: since 1980 deputy state chairwoman of the CDU Women's Union of Hesse and since 1986 chairwoman of the Office for Citizenship Women's Work

She was a founding member of donum vitae and was an active member of the federal board until 2019
