The works created by Drengwitz during the East Prussian period - a Christopheros for Goldap , a sower for Insterburg, portrait heads that were exhibited at the Königsberg Art Academy in 1928, and a breastfeeding mother that was on view in 1935 in the Wrangelturm art gallery - are probably all perished in the chaos of war.

After the Second World War , Drengwitz carried out commissioned work for the art office in Berlin-Neukölln as part of the artist's emergency aid . This is how bronze was created - sculptures of local personalities, which can still be seen in the Neukölln Heimatmuseum today. Drengwitz also worked for a few months on one of the cenotaph reliefs on the Soviet memorial in Treptower Park , the motif of which he simply had to put in stone. For the Deutsche Oper Berlin he created the set for the performance of Rosenkavalier .
