Otto Nasse
Otto Johann Friedrich Nasse (born October 2, 1839 in Marburg , † October 20, 1903 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German doctor and university professor .
Life
Otto Nasse was born as the son of the Mannheim doctor and university professor Hermann Nasse (1807-1892) and grandson of professor Christian Friedrich Nasse . He studied medicine at the Universities of Marburg , Berlin and Vienna . In 1862 he obtained his doctorate in medicine, surgery and obstetrics in Marburg . The University of Halle habilitated him in 1864. From 1872 Nasse worked there as an associate professor . During this time he was particularly concerned with obstetrics. In 1880 he moved to Rostock University as a full professor . There he taught pharmacology and physiological chemistry . He also held the rectorate in 1886/1887.
Nasse died in Freiburg at the age of 64.
