The Pöllauer Safen (also Pöllauer Saifen ) is an approximately 35 km long Austrian river that has its source in the area of the former municipality of Saifen-Boden in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district ( Styria ).

It flows through the Pöllauer Tal nature park . In Pöllau , the Pöllauer Safen takes on the Dürre Saifen and the Prätisbach. In Sebersdorf , the Hartberger Safen and the Pöllauer Safen flow together and form the Safen from here on .
Regulations
In the course of the Pöllauer Safen a weir was built in Dienersdorf and a flood protection device between Hofkirchen bei Hartberg and Kaindorf .
