Architecture and history

The massive three-storey apartment building was built in 1898/99 in the historicist style . The facade is strongly structured by plaster elements.

Until 1899 there was a building a little further north, in the area of ​​today's GutsMuthsstraße and the house GutsMuthsstraße 1, which had the address Pölle 35 and was referred to as von Thale-Freihaus and in the 19th century housed the Gasthaus an der Pölle .
