The Auma District Court (until 1879 Auma Justice Office ) was a court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1850 to 1949 and was based in the Thuringian city of Auma .

history

As a result of the revolution of 1848, there was also a reform of the state structure in the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach . The judiciary and administration were separated, and patrimonial jurisdiction was abolished. From parts of the previous offices of Neustadt an der Orla and Weida , the Auma Justice Office was formed, which

Due to the repeal of the Triptis judicial office on July 1, 1879, the places Burkersdorf, Pillingsdorf and Zwackau had to be given to the district of the Neustadt an der Orla judicial office , the remaining communities of this commission were now directly subordinate to the Auma judicial office.

When the Courts Constitution Act came into force on October 1, 1879, the judicial office became the Auma District Court, which was subordinated to the Gera District Court, which was established at the same time . The district of the Auma court remained the same.

The judicial reform that became necessary after the formation of the state of Thuringia led on October 1, 1923 to the downgrading of the Auma district court to a division of the Neustadt an der Orla district court , which now only has jurisdiction over the places Auma, Braunsdorf, Forstwolfersdorf, Gütterlitz, Köthnitz, Leubsdorf (with Lemnitz and Tömmelsdorf), Tischendorf, Uhlersdorf, Untendorf, Wöhlsdorf (with Wiebels- and Pfersdorf) and Wüstenwetzdorf. The municipalities

  • Chursdorf (with Sorna), Förthen, Läwitz and Moßbach (with Reinsdorf) were the Schleiz district court ;
  • Dörtendorf, Göhren, Krölpa, Merkendorf-Piesigitz, Muntscha, Silberfeld, Staitz, Stelzendorf, Wenigenauma, Zadelsdorf and Zickra the district court of Zeulenroda ;

  • Oberrenthendorf to the Roda District Court

has been increased.

On April 1, 1926, this department received the municipal districts of Birkhausen, Döblitz, Geheege, Geroda, Mittelpöllnitz, Oberpöllnitz and Triptis from the district court district Neustadt, Krölpa and Muntscha from the district court district Zeulenroda as well as Chursdorf (with Sorna) and Moßbach (with Reinsdorf) from the district court district Schleiz and from January 1, 1927, the Auma department was again an independent district court.

The Auma district court was dissolved on October 1, 1949, and the municipalities forming its district came to the Neustadt / Orla district court district, with the exception of Krölpa and Muntscha, which were assigned to the Zeulenroda district court district.
