Quingenberg is a settlement in the Silberfeld district of the city of Zeulenroda-Triebes in the Greiz district in Thuringia .

The hamlet of Quingenberg is located on state road 1087, which crosses the Zeulenroda dam in the northern section via the reservoir bridge. Thus, this settlement has a very favorable connection to the core city. The hamlet is located to the northwest on a former plateau nose and is therefore halfway framed by the reservoir water and wooded bank slopes.

This small settlement has been documented since June 15, 1399. Over the bridge mill you come to the noble von Quingenbergk family, who lived in Wenigenjena . In 1453 she sold the property on which the mill mentioned stood to master Hansen Kittelmann . He was a hammer smith . So much for the first mention of the Büchersmühle. The ownership structure then often changed. 1910–1911 the miller converted the water mill to electricity. After 1945 the development of the mill is determined more and more by the state and the planning around Zeulenroda. On December 1, 2011, together with Silberfeld, it was incorporated into the town of Zeulenroda-Triebes. Today the sailors from the reservoir have their domicile in the settlement.
