Schönbrunn is a hamlet in the Arnsgrün-Bernsgrün-Pöllwitz district of the town of Zeulenroda-Triebes in the Greiz district in Thuringia .

Schönbrunn is located in the central Vogtland east of the Thuringian state road 2342 in the area of the Thuringian Slate Mountains . Neighboring places are Bernsgrün in the south and Arnsgrün in the east.
history
The hamlet was first mentioned in a document on May 23, 1449. In 1864 Schönbrunn had 12 houses in which 181 people lived. It used to belong to Bernsgrün. Together with other places, the Vogtland Oberland community was formed on July 1, 1999 . With the dissolution of the community on December 31, 2012, the place came to the town of Zeulenroda-Triebes , where it has since been part of the newly formed district of Arnsgrün-Bernsgrün-Pöllwitz .
