Niederböhmersdorf is a district of the town of Zeulenroda-Triebes in the district of Greiz .
location
The place is located about twelve kilometers (as the crow flies ) west of the district town of Greiz and about four kilometers northeast of the city center of Zeulenroda . The highest point is a hill about 400 meters southeast of the locality ( 435.2 m above sea level ). The district of Grüna consists of a few houses and is located south of the village on federal road 94 .
history
The place is a so-called long village and probably goes back to an old Sorbian settlement. The oldest written mention of the place comes from the year 1462 as Behmstorff . On July 1, 1992 Niederböhmersdorf became a district of Zeulenroda. About 293 people live in the village today. A post windmill built in 1843 , which was converted into a Paltrock windmill in 1922, is worth seeing . In the district of Grüna there was at times a spa.
