Wolfshain is a hamlet in the Arnsgrün-Bernsgrün-Pöllwitz district of the town of Zeulenroda-Triebes in the Greiz district in Thuringia .
location
The place is on the state road 2346 west of Ebersgrün and southeast of Arnsgrün in the Thuringian Slate Mountains . To the north lies the Pöllwitzer Forest , where the headwaters of the Triebes are located.
history
The district was first mentioned in a document on February 13, 1342. In 1864 Wolfshain had 27 houses in which 181 people lived. The place was incorporated into Ebersgrün on January 1, 1970 and reclassified to Pöllwitz on April 1, 1992. This in turn was incorporated into the Vogtland Oberland community in 1999 . With the dissolution of this on December 31, 2012, the place came to the city of Zeulenroda-Triebes and has since been part of the newly founded district of Arnsgrün-Bernsgrün-Pöllwitz . 70 inhabitants live in the district.
