Greiz District Court
The Greiz District Court , a court of ordinary jurisdiction , is one of seven District Courts (AG) in the district of the Gera District Court .
Seat and District of the Court
The seat of the court is Greiz , the district town of the district of Greiz . The 451 km² judicial district extends to the cities and communities of Auma-Weidatal , Berga / Elster , Greiz, Hohenleuben , Kühdorf , Langenwetzendorf , Langenwolschendorf , Mohlsdorf-Teichwolframsdorf , Neumühle / Elster , Teichwitz , Weißendorf and Zeulenroda-Triebes . More than 56,000 people live in it.
For the leadership of the trade , cooperative and partnership register is Jena District Court as Central Registration court jurisdiction. The central dunning court is the Aschersleben District Court .

The court is housed in the building at Brunnengasse 10 , built by Alois Holtmeyer 1910–1912 .
Superior courts
The District Court of Gera is superordinate to the Greiz District Court. The competent higher regional court is the Thuringian higher regional court in Jena .
