history
PAWA Dominicana was founded in 2003 and initially ceased flight operations in 2012. The company was taken over by Simeon Garcia, owner of the Venezuelan companies Aserca Airlines and Santa Barbara Airlines . Since October 2014 she has had a flight license again and since August 14, 2015 flights to Aruba , St. Maarten and Curaçao have been offered.
The Dominican aviation authority Junta de Aviación Civil revoked the company's operating license on January 28, 2018, initially for a period of 90 days because it was unable to pay the landing and airport fees. The total debt of PAWA Dominicana is approximately $ 3 million.
