history

PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen eG was founded on February 15, 1872 as a post-savings and advance payment association in Frankfurt am Main . In 1903 the name was changed to the Post-Spar- und Kreditverein Frankfurt am Main . In 1995 the bank moved from the post office building in Rohmer-Platz in Frankfurt-Bockenheim to its own building in Eschborn. In the course of 1997 the customer base was expanded to include all private customers. In 1999 the legal form was changed to a cooperative and the name was changed to PSD Bank Frankfurt am Main eG . It has had its current name since 2005.
