The PZL Bielsko SZD-42 Jantar ( German  Bernstein ) 2 is a single-seat Polish high-performance glider made of GRP in the open class . It is equipped with flaps.

construction

The aircraft is based on Jantar 1 or Jantar Standard , but has a larger wingspan of 20.5 meters. The inner wing was taken over almost unchanged from the Jantar 1, the outer one was extended and given a different profile. Instead of a T-tail, a cross tail was used again.

Jantar 2

The SZD-42-2 Jantar 2b is an improved variant with modified wing geometry, larger water ballast tanks and an improved landing gear.
