Pablo Schreiber
Pablo Tell Schreiber (born April 26, 1978 in Ymir , British Columbia ) is a Canadian actor . He is the half-brother of the actor Liev Schreiber .
Life
Schreiber was in a Canadian Hippie - municipality born. His parents are the psychotherapist Lorraine Reaveley and the actor Tell Schreiber, who is also the father of Liev Schreiber . It is named after the Chilean writer Pablo Neruda . His parents separated when he was 12 years old, and he with his father to Seattle in the US state of Washington moved.
He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in drama in 2000 . Since 2001 he has appeared as a film and television actor. He had his first major role in 2003 as Nick Sobotka in the television series The Wire . From 2013 to 2015 he was on the Netflix television series Orange Is the New Black as George "Pornstache" Mendez .
At the same time, Schreiber also appears at the theater. His portrayal of Ralph Berger in Clifford Odet's play Awake and Sing! earned him a 2006 Tony Award nomination in the Best Supporting Actor category . At the Drama Desk Awards 2009 he was awarded in the category Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play for his performance in the play reasons to be pretty .
