The Palmbach is a brook in the western Hintertaunus with a roughly north-westerly course that arises in the Hessian Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis and flows into the lower Aar from the right at Zollhaus in the Rhineland-Palatinate Rhein-Lahn-Kreis , a tributary of the Lahn

The Palmbach arises in the forest area at 376  m above sea level. NHN high Bruchberg between the Hünstettener places Limbach in the south and Ketterschwalbach in the northwest. It flows briefly to the west to the edge of the forest, where a first other spring arm runs along it from the left, then to the northwest towards Ketternschwalbach, where it takes up two more short source streams from the right and turns through the village on a west-southwest run to near Panrod . This district of Aarbergen flows through close to the south of the Daisbach , the Palmbach itself only touches the place in the north and then turns on almost to the last northwest run.

On this long section to Burgschwalbach it runs in a meadow through a wooded area and takes its large tributaries, one after the other, Seelbach (still this side of the state border), then Prebach and in the village of Burgschwalbach itself Prabach. From there it flows a little further to the west and flows into the lower Aar from the right at Zollhaus .

Probably more or less to the right of the Palmbach is the unsafe village of Seelbach .
