Anderson Ferreira da Silva , called Pará , (born August 23, 1995 in Capanema , Pará ) is a Brazilian football player . He derives his nickname from his region of origin.

Career

Pará received his football training at the Clube do Remo from Belém and the EC Bahia from Salvador . In 2014, the player began his professional career in Série A of the Brazilian championship. Pará played his first Série A game on April 20, 2014 against Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte . In that game he was in the starting line-up. Pará also scored his first league goal that season . On May 11, 2014, the fourth matchday of the season, he scored in the home game against EC Vitória in the 91st minute to make it 1-1.

Due to the relegation of Bahia to Série B at the end of the season, Pará moved to the Cruzeiro EC in Belo Horizonte in spring 2015 . At the club he received a contract until June 2019. In the 2015 season he came to the club for eleven appearances in various competitions. But was then loaned out to different clubs in 2016 and 2017. For the 2018 championship, Pará was awarded to Guarani FC in Série B until the end of November 2018. After Pará played no role in Cruzeiro's coach Mano Menezes' plans for 2019, he moved to Botafogo FC (SP) before the contract expired .

In 2020 he moved to Asia . Here he signed a contract with Vegalta Sendai in Japan . The Sendai club plays in the country's highest league, the J1 League .

National team

So far, he has received three appointments to the Brazilian U-20 national football team. At the Spanish U-20 Nations Tournament 2014 in L'Alcúdia (Valencia Province) Pará won the title with the team.
