Maggie Scott is an American fashion buyer from New York City . Her boss Irene Chase sends her to Paris to see the latest fashion shows by the French designers. It is Maggie's first trip to Europe and she appears accordingly unsafe in the world of Parisian haute couture . This journey seems like the big climb to young Maggie, but behind the journey is actually Ted Barkley. Ted is the son of Irene Chase and in love with Maggie. However, the mother wants to keep him away from Maggie and therefore she sends the girl to Paris. It doesn't seem to work out when Maggie hooks up with the elegant French Marc Fontaine in Paris. But Ted does not give up and also travels to Paris. He wants to keep fighting for Maggie's heart. The laughing third party, however, is the American journalist Herb Stone.

Reviews

  • Lexicon of International Films : Seasoned Hollywood Comedy.
  • Evangelical film observer : Viscous Hollywood comedy that suggests illusions and dreams of success, where a realistic view and criticism would be appropriate. Excluded for young people and not recommended for adults. (Review No. 146/1966)
