Milton R. Krasner
Milton R. Krasner (born February 17, 1904 in New York City , † July 16, 1988 in Woodland Hills , Los Angeles , California ) was an American cinematographer and participated in more than 150 productions.
Live and act
He began his career in the film business as a second cameraman for various productions in the early 1930s. His first film in which he was involved as cameraman was Strictly Personal from 1933. His first films were directed by Ralph Murphy.
He was nominated for an Oscar six times , the first time in 1943 for the film Arabian Nights . He won his only trophy in 1954 for his work on the film Three Coins in the Well .
His last film as a cameraman was Return to the Planet of the Apes from 1970. After that, he only worked a few television shows, in 1976 he worked on an episode of the television series Columbo and subsequently retired.
