San Andrés de Giles is a partido (administrative unit) in the northwest of the Argentine province of Buenos Aires . The administrative center is the city of the same name, San Andrés de Giles .

The Partido San Andrés de Giles has an area of 1,135 km². It is surrounded by the Partidos Exaltación de la Cruz in the northwest, Mercedes in the south, Luján in the southeast, Suipacha in the southwest, Carmen de Areco in the east and San Antonio de Areco in the northwest. The distance to the center of the Argentine capital Buenos Aires is about 103 km.

history
The Partido San Andrés de Giles came into being in 1832 with the appointment of Juan Gregorio Carrasco as the first justice of the peace. Until then, the area belonged to the Pardio San Antonio de Areco.
