Esteban Echeverría is the name of a partido (administrative unit) in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires . The main town of the Partido, which consists of four localidades (localities), is Monte Grande . Esteban Echeverría, wholly in the Buenos Aires -called agglomeration of the city of Buenos Aires is located, covers an area of 120 square kilometers and has a population of 300,959 inhabitants (2010).

Location in the agglomeration of Buenos Aires

Esteban Echeverría is located about 20 kilometers south of the center of the Argentine capital Buenos Aires, not far from its Ezeiza international airport . Neighboring Partidos are La Matanza in the north, Lomas de Zamora and Almirante Brown in the east, Presidente Perón in the south and Ezeiza in the west .
