Patrik Lyrberg

Patrik Lyrberg (born August 30, 1976 ) is a Swedish chess player .

In 1992 he received the title of International Master . At the Swedish individual championship in 1993 in Lindesberg , he finished fourth, and he was also fourth at the open Danish junior championship in 1996 in Lyngby . In 2000 he was third behind Viktor Gavrikov and Mark Taimanow at the Heart of Finland Open in Jyväskylä . In 2005 he won the Tusenmanna - rapid chess tournament in Stockholm Lars Karlsson and Evgeny Agrest .

In the Swedish Eliteserien Lyrberg played for SK Rockaden Stockholm until 2001 , with whom he was Swedish team champion in 1991/92 , 1992/93 , 1993/94 , 1994/95 , 1996/97 , 1997/98 and 2000/01 and between 1993 and took part in European Club Cups six times in 2000 . He then played for Wasa SK until 2007 , since then for the club Kungstornet from the Stockholm district of Vasastaden , which in the 2011/12 season still played in the fourth-highest Swedish division, Division II , but after three consecutive promotions in the 2014 season / 15 of the Elitserien.
