Elitserien (chess) 1993/94

The 1993/94 season was the seventh season of the Elitserien . The defending champion SK Rockaden Stockholm , SK Passanten and Schack 08 fought a three-way battle at the top, and although Rockaden Stockholm was defeated by both competitors in direct comparison, the title was defended. From the Division I were Schacksällskapet Luleå , Södra SASS and the second team of Schacksällskapet Manhem ascended. While Luleå achieved relegation, Södra SASS withdrew his team before the start of the season for financial reasons, and Manhem's second team was relegated together with Limhamns SK .

Events

The competitions took place on October 24, November 14, December 5, 1993, January 16, February 6 and 27, and March 11, 12 and 13, 1994. The last three rounds were held centrally in Stockholm .
