Elitserien (chess) 2011/12
The 2011/12 season saw a clear decision in the title fight; SK Team Viking had already won the title before the last round, and in the end the lead over defending champion Lunds ASK , SK Rockaden Stockholm and Västerås Schackklubb was 6 points.
Since the Elitserien was reduced to 10 teams compared to the previous season, only one club was promoted from the Superettan with SK Rockaden Umeå in the previous year , which could assert itself, while Solna Schacksällskap and SK Kamraterna had to relegate . For the reported team squads of the participating clubs see team squad of the Elitserien (chess) 2011/12 .
