Elitserien (chess) 2005/06

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the 2005/06 season the Sollentuna SK gave up three team points early on, but won all other competitions and was thus able to prevail with 3 points ahead of the defending champion SK Rockaden Stockholm .

In the previous year the Schacksällskapet Manhem , the Linköping Allmänna Schacksällskap and the Schacksällskapet Luleå were promoted . While Manhem and Linköping achieved relegation, Luleå and SK Kamraterna had to relegate directly. In purely sporting terms, Wasa SK would have been third relegated, but with the withdrawal of Södra SASS , he was still relegated .
