Elitserien (chess) 2018/19
The Elitserien (chess) 2018/19 was the 31st season of the Elitserien , the top division in Swedish team chess . The Lund ASK team became champions . Since two clubs, defending champion Malmö AS and SK Team Viking, withdrew their teams after the previous season, four teams were promoted from the Superettan with the Stockholm club Wasa SK , Västerås Schackklubb , Norrköpinger club Schack 08 and SK Rockaden Umeå . While Wasa and Västerås achieved relegation, Schack 08 and Umeå had to relegate immediately.

Game dates
The competitions took place from November 9th to 11th, 2018, on January 12th, February 2nd, March 9th and March 29th to 31st, 2019, with one competition of the fifth round already on January 11th and two only on March 10th, while two sixth round competitions took place on January 13th. The first three rounds were organized centrally in Lidingö , the last three in Malmö .
