Elitserien (chess) 2006/07
In the 2006/07 season , the defending champions Sollentuna SK and Lunds ASK fought head-to-head for the title. Both teams achieved 19: 3 points, the higher number of points on the board was the decisive factor in favor of the Sollentuna SK.
In the previous year, Åstorps Schacksällskap , Västerås Schackklubb and SK Rockaden Umeå rose. While Åstorp and Västerås achieved relegation, Umeå had to relegate together with Eksjö - Aneby -Alliansen and Linköping Allmänna Schacksällskap . Due to the introduction of the single-track Superettan as the second highest division, only two teams from the Elitserien were relegated from the following season.
